Hello,
Students! In all the stories we’ve been reading, we’ve been spending lots of
time talking about how the stories create pictures in our minds. We’ve talked
about how many of the ways authors do this is by using figurative language or
“dressy talk.” Today, you’re going to work with your small group to define some
types of figurative language and create some examples of your own.
